star light

This vintage fixture? sign? was rehabbed, rewired and installed in the reception area of a San Francisco design firm. One of my favorite objects.

bamboo screen

Dozens of bamboo poles connected with threaded rods to create a visual screen on this rooftop deck.

banana republic cologne reproduction

For the San Francisco flagship store, this is a large scale
reproduction of a Banana Republic cologne package.

tree house

A tree house, perched above a lagoon, features a ladder, a swing and
of course a bucket on a pulley to hoist all necessary provisions.

simple mantle

This mantel was designed to work with the existing marble fireplace surround.
Because sometimes things don't have to be complicated.

cherry plank mantle

A solid cherry plank with blackened trim tops off this mantel.

grid install

This panel wall at the Montgomery Gallery allows the display of artwork in the window without closing the gallery off from natural light. The wall pivots to allow easy changing of the window-side artwork.

clamp light

This conference room light fixture for a San Francisco design firm is simply a connected set of clamp lights dropped from a corrugated metal panel. Shiny goodness.

cutting boards

Based on vintage designs, these custom bread boards are cut out of a single plank of red birch
and edge-painted with milk paint.
